Dick Benson; Michele L Neil-Sherwood, DO; Mark Sherwood, ND

IMCJ: Today we are going to focus on discussing Lactoferrin, let's start with describing what it is. Dr. Neil-Sherwood: It's a protein that's found naturally in milk from humans and cows. It's also found in other fluids in the body such as saliva. It's in tears, in mucus, and even in bile. And it is found in the highest amounts in colostrum which is the first type of breast milk produced after a baby's born.
